For Scotland likely around 186GBP Sloan. Quite a bit still. And I haven't heard about striped sleeves yet! I'd bet the cost will rise.

Looks like a nice sweater somewhere in between the Aero Dehen 325 GBP and the Eastman Navy Sweater - 100GBP

Still a chunk of change for a jumper but heading into more reasonable territory IMHO

Found out from Dehen that we can order the zip neck "moto" with or without striped sleeves for the same price. We also can do a crewneck with striped sleeves, again same price so for $195/shipped CONUS we can have a very cool piece.

That said we need 36 guys to agree to the same specs!

Gav, go ahead and offer on the other forums if you want. Let me know what you learn!

I posted this in general attire a while back but have heard back from Dehen and Settlemeiers, both local here in Portland, OR. With a min order of 36 pcs we can order a "copy" of the skull rugby jersey in Dehn's heavy worsted wool crewneck. Here is a pic of the crew and a pic of the original for reference. Cost would be $195 shipped CONUS. Overseas interest let me know and I will look into shipping cost. I don't imagine it would be much more as the package would be relatively small and light.

Any interest? Let me know and I will compile a list. min order is 36 pcs for wholesale at Dehen so i am not too hopeful but thought I'd ask.

Thanks! View attachment 64768 View attachment 64769

Have you considered going to a local embroidery shop.

I play tennis all the time. I saw a tennis shirt with a skull on the chest and sleeves.
At the time it was only available in Europe.
On the computer, I designed my own version and added the cross tennis rackets .

I emailed my sample to a local shop.
He entered my pattern into his machines and then he filed it into my account that
I set up for $20.
Next time I only pay for the embroidery and depending on the size, he charges me
accordingly.

I mostly bring in sweatshirts or sweaters.
My favorite is a vintage looking pin-stripe baseball jacket with the
1919 Chicago White Sox logo on the back & patches on the shoulders.
On the back near the top, I had the guy embroider "Shoeless Joe Jackson".

Sure I could make one for myself but thought it'd be a fun group project if we can get enough involvement.

I could ask settlemeiers if they could do embroidery instead of a patch too if that's what you mean.

I thought you meant that with a minimum order of 36,
you didn't feel too hopeful in having enough participation in having one made.

That's why I mentioned going the other route.
Embroidery & patch are options that are available depending on what you prefer.

Good luck with your group project!

oh yes you are correct, I am still doubtful but Gav said he could share the idea on a couple of other forums so we shall see. Thanks!

Well we can but try!
I'll post up some threads over at denimbro and superdenim to see if we can get some more interest. A custom dehen jersey for 33% less seems like a great idea to me.
My first choice would be the moto-jersey with striped sleeves.
Thanks again @Pdxgeo

Any chance of posting the specific options or option so we can decide? Not sure what, specifically,
is meant by "moto-jersey" or how the stripes would look. A mock-up of the skull would be good, too,
as it would be submitted to Dehen.

I think black sweater with grey/black striped sleeves (zip or crew neck) would be cool. I'd keep the collar black:

or a crew with color blocked waistband...

I fear this could be rather expensive. Dehen are really lovely, but I'm not sure the product justifies the cost.

Mn. At 2008 prices I'd haved jumped on one of these, but with the pound in the toilet for the foreseeable future, anything comnig from the US is just more than I'd be prepared to spend. FWIW, six months ago the cost for one of these in GBP would have been about £130, which I'd have gladly paid. Closing in on £200 is too much for me.

Hope you get enough interest - I'll be interested to see the end results. :)

My vote is for the grey/black as shown above. That is really cool looking and the lower contrast doesn't make it as "loud" although it doesn't have a skull on it yet!!
