The button shouldn't be in the way.I just bought my first shirt that has this kinda cuffs. It's convertible. Should I cut the button as soon as I have cufflinks? It would be in the way, non?
Actually, I doubt that most people would even notice unless it was pointed out to them. But what would you rather have peaking out from the inside cuff; a toggle or a face/side of a set of links like these? Is it common that people will look down on this toggle thingys?
I'd say double sided/faced snap or chain link were more common. Is the toggle style uncommon for say 30s and 40s?.
priceless sentence. Sorry, I do not.My Kum-A-Part Cufflinks arrived today and I don't know how they come apart.
I once stepped on a cufflink and severly bent the toggle back and a jeweler replaced the entire finding so that would be an option. Now I have a name for it. See the little bullet back closure. Do you know of anyone who could fix one?
It is possible a link is damaged but will neither cuff open?Another question. My Kum-A-Part Cufflinks arrived today and I don't know how they come apart. They are a little damaged so maybe somebody else tried before. I already searched for different mechanism but they also didn't work.

BTW, this may come in handy.Thank you. Finally the came apart by just pulling (and maybe turning them a little). I was just too anxious to break them before i ever had the chance to wear em.
As one interested in the history of ancient Mexico and Southern America I just could not resist these beauties:
Besides they are my first silver cufflinks. Don't know how old they are.
