It is cowhide. I had it on long enough to see where the cuffs and lower hem ended up, then went back to work. I haven't tried it on since. It will take a few days, but I will share my thoughts on it.

My initial impression is that I do like it.

Crazy thing is the back length on this - I just can't figure it out. I mean, I usually spec 26" or 27" backs & this one has just over 24" yet still covers my belt line....

Congrats, what a beauty! Is it their new Bruciato Horsehide? I guess it does look similar to Aero's Horween Natural CXFQHH, ´doesn't it? I hope you will make a review of this piece of art?!

Thnx! It's indeed the bruciato horsehide. I asked theodoros to send me a few horsehide samples in brown, washed and unwashed (Thedi's beeswax treatment). I immediately fell in love with this color. I'm not familiar with Aero's natural cxfqhh, but this hide is vegetable tanned. I will definitively write a review about the jacket and the process of ordering one.

Wow!! Stunning jacket. I love the button fur collar. More of a vintage feel than snaps. What cool jacket that is!
