Dixon's Boots has been revived a couple of times through the years and still exists but it's just the name.

I bought a vintage pair of Dixon’s once, sort of a Buckaroo style. The soles were thick & they were heavy to wear. Definitely a working Cowboy boot.

I made it through its entirety but not without some anger issues. Motivated me to do a little research on the writer. I even thought of sending her a message in regards to her article but decided I wasn't that bored. She's a young freelance fashion blogger and "content creator". Isn't that what I just did? Anyway, I won't go scorched earth on her for her ignorance. I mean, she's a graduate of Cal State Long Beach and some things we just have to overlook. Now I can't get Valley Girl dialog out of my head.

I have several pair but the pair I wear regularly are Tony Lama's (now 6 years old). I just bought a new pair and again went with Tony Lama's. There are a lot of different heal/toe combinations so look around and try on lots of different styles.
