This woman's opinion is, when a man is in cowboy boots and hat he is immediately at least 25% sexier -- at least my opinion. It's an attitude. I just recently bought some ladies Dan Post boots and I am AMAZED how they were comfortable first time I wore them. Not a high heel -- I think like 1 1/2 inches -- support my foot. When they fit right your foot kind of just "snaps" in there. AND IF YOU ever have acilles heel pain that heel will help it a lot. I worked with a man who had heel pain so bad they wanted to give him cortisone shots in his heel. He started wearing cowboy boots and it completely solved his problem.I haven't the slightest clue why, but recently I've had a desire to purchase a pair of cowboy boots.
It really doesn't fit with my style, which is exclusively khakis, collared shirt, fedora, but it is one of those itches... :kick:
I am just lucky I haven't happened across my size yet. How bad an idea is it? I was hoping I could depend on The Fedora Lounge to finally convince me not to go through with it and drop the idea all together.
Hard to believe it will be 20 yrs since he died in just about a month; Jan 4, 1999.Wow! The crying (Italian-American) Indian.
Manly Footwear and look sexy on the Women also. I wear boots both with a Fedora, Western hats, snap shirt, button shirt, jeans, dress pants, suits, anytime. This woman's opinion is, when a man is in cowboy boots and hat he is immediately at least 25% sexier -- at least my opinion. Their reviews on receiving them were very positive but nothing as to the durability. A pair of their ropers is on my wish list. There have only been a couple postings about Tecova boots here and not a lot of info. I believe members @DJH and @Michael R. have them. Perhaps they will chime in.

Killer boots! That stitching really takes them to the next level.Since it's "Black Friday" (not that I will go near a mall for the next 60-days), I am wearing my vintage 1960s black Nocona boots. I don't wear black boots very often, but these (and a pair of El Dorados) are my favorites. May not be easy to see, but the stitching is green and yellow - nice contrast on the black.

Of all the so-called States boots thru the yrs these Kauffman's are among my favorites. Black & White is an added bonus. Very much in the PB style of boot.

I've been told that he made boots parttime that were sold at both Billy Martin's & Judy Buie's shops back in the day.For display at a leading disco. Gotta dig that.

I have a pair of eagles all trimmed out in green that are unmarked & identical to a pair in the writeup on Buie featured in "Texas Boots". I always thought they were probably made under contract for her by TL. Reitzel always thought Judy Buie had a business relationship with Enid Justin, so depending on the timing they could be unmarked Noconas.Would love to find some exclusive to Buie's shop. Didn't you post a pair some time back?
