Cowboy Boots

To each his own, but I'll save that look for socks.
I don't even want my socks to look like that!

Anyone know any info or background on these Goast ankle boots?
Texas Boot Co used to do a lot of padded tops like that back in the 70's & 80's. Kind a ripoff of the old padded & puckered roses.

Maybe part of the Jo Ghost line.
Man, that is one ugly...shoe!

Found another couple pair of the apron style cowboy boots. All of the big three were involved in making this style and not just TL as they were all I had seen. The first are white label Nocona's and the second pair are Justin. Neither of these pair have the split toe.

Those two tone Noconas are some especially good looking boots.

I wish @mmbarnes was still hanging around. I found him some cowboy boots this morning. Tie dyed tops from Tim Bishop.

I can appreciate the artisanship that went into producing that tie dye leather.....but what I really like about those is the spider web stitch pattern. That's a classic design that you really don't see very much of.

After watching about 45 min of CMA Fest on TV last night & now seeing these boots, we can officially conclude that "Country & cowboy" have gone to hell!
Like Dale, I can appreciate the artisanship and I like the spiderweb stitch which is all but lost in those tops. I do like how he was able to match up the sideseams. That took some work. They're working boots as well. Black, roughout pig with a big spur ledge. Can't imagine the buyers inspiration. Maybe they spent a lot of time listening to evil music.
