Its been a while since I've shared anything, so here's my latest experience in leather world. Once I became a teenager I realized leather was the coolest superior material for men; even though I was a boy. I've always appreciated leather garments, jackets, shirts, boots, bags, ect. With jacket season coming upon us i set out to get a classic motorcycle jacket. I really didn't want to put an order in an wait until the end of December to get it, if i did custom order it would absolutely be a L.W. the jacket king imo. L.W. classic mc jacket is also made with a two piece bck so changing it to a 1 piece an added zippers it would be double the price and a couple month wait. So aninitially I started looking 2nd hand, e bay, sty, classifieds, fb, ect. I could have pulled the trigger on a few but decided to try an be patient because the available ones just wasn't going to meet the expectations. Im not trying to go round n round open boxes trying it on an becoming a regular at ups/usps ect. Especially not during holidays. Any way I looked through my archive of jacket pictures an realized the easiest motorcycle jacket to get, that would satisfy (bases on previous experience) was Schott. I haven't had any of schott regular line up jackets but their cxl jackets have always been dope. Great materials, good solid construction. And im a sucker for made in U.S.A.. Schott has a very cool unique history. They say that irvin schott was the first one to put a zipper in a jacket period. So after scrolling 6 hrs a day for a jacket I decided to just buy one new. The jacket shipped in 24hr. And showed up 48hr. Later. The weight is 8.7 lb with the content being a jacket an a hanger. After unboxing I was absolutely surprised. The stitching on this jacket is great an i didn't find any flaws. The p613s is horween cxl steerhide. It is a monster. The lining is 100%all black wool. Modern ideal zippers.
