Hi Gang,

Could use a little advice and/or input. I'm slowly building my 1940 Mechanized Cavalry impression(s). The enlisted impression is fairly simple and coming together.

However for dressier occassions and general pimpin' I'm building a 1st Cavalry Reg (Mecz) officer's impression. Basically this:

My question is whether WPG or WW2 Impressions makes a better officer's tunic. Or any other makers out there?? I've never seen any repro officer's stuff first-hand.

For breeches- since I'm in no hurry to get this together- I'm holding off for originals. But would consider a repro if anyone knows of really good examples.

Thanks!

Clint

Hi Guys,

I hope I didn't imply that the image was of me! :eusa_doh: The image is from the Life Archives.

I meant only to illustrate the basic 1940 Cav Officer uniform!

If you are lucky with the size, there is an original pair with providence offered in the classifieds section at the moment.
