Nice! Give us an update when you get them. I got a set of the white high-top PFs and I would not mind getting another color.

Just got them today! Very cool but not what I expected. These are honestly more like canvas boots than sneakers, but that makes sense; sports shoes from the early part of the century were actually boots. I've owned and handled many vintage sneakers and sport shoes from the 40's-60's over the years, and they still somehat resembled modern models. This particular style I'm assuming is a repro of a 1937 model.

How often does PF Flyers do its 'Archival Revivals'? I seem to have missed the Ringside, Sumfun, and Rambler from a few years ago, but would love to buy a pair if they were ever brought back again.

They seem tru to size if not slightly large..the back of my foot was rubbing against the inside a bit after wearing them all day, but thicker socks will prevent that next time.
A couple of guys I work with asked me if I was wearing Palladium Boots:

Some offerings from Goodrich I've pieced together from ads of theirs 1927-1928. Take special note of the pair with the zipper.

I have to caution everyone when it comes to the PF Flyers reissues. They run half a size too small. I wear a 9D, pretty much middle of the road foot, not extra wide, not narrow, straight on 9. A 9 1/2 was the one that fit me, and even then the last was too narrow and the toebox was a prison.

These are shoes made for people with slightly narrow feet, period. Beware.
