I hope you bought these. Even if they aren't your size, you'll make a ton on resale!

And now they're mine. How old do you think? Interestingly, now that I look carefully, it says they were made in Czechoslovakia.

Hmm......maybe 60's? Definitely a dime store brand which make them more interesting. I've sold similar oddities from the same era for big $$. They'll most certainly go to Japan. Check out My Freedamn (6 I think) for pages and pages of collectible sneakers.

Very cool man! They really have an old time Summer in the city look about them.
They would cool with one of these:

I've got one of these to wear with them:

I'm about to list my 1943 PF Flyer Rambler reissues in the classifieds! Purchased almost exactly one year ago and never worn. Check it out!

Classic 40s / 50s style Hi-Tops besides PF Flyers and Converse?

Well, it looks like PF Flyers killed off the Rambler and the Bob Cousy models and made endless horiffic colour variations of the Center Hi model. Converse are pretty much the worst shoe ever made, so I'm looking for a replacement sneaker.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply flat-top. I remember seeing the Colchesters a couple years ago when they had black and just thinking they looked a little cheap, so I passed.

I was even interested in the PF Flyers Grounder, but thats gone too! How annoying. The search continues...

Keds?

It's been a while, but I remember seeing a high top that was very classically styled.

That sucks about the PF Flyer Ramblers...got myself a pair last year and another this year on clearance. I have some Colchesters too....they are nice looking but no where near as comfortable.
