1970s on the dress. I think I had one similar back then but in brown I think. Nice coat. 40s 50s Swing.
So mad as I have one and was going to list it but went in a few months ago and the moths had nibbled on it.

Got this Great purse at a resale shop today, but I'm not quite sure on the date. The interior label says "Jana Made in Italy".

I think your right, from the little bit of reseach I've done I think it's from Emilio Pucci Bags by Jana, made in Italy. If anyone has any additional info on that designer let me know.

Jana was in NY in the late 1940's. Emilio Pucci was a designer who came to fame in the 1960's and Jana was an authorized manufacturer of his designs on purses in that decade. His designs were colorful and wild:

I would venture a guess your purse is from the 1950's.

I have a pair of what may be dress or shoe clips, maybe a hatpin, another sparkly clip, and a two part
tin belt buckle, just wondering how old they are, and how they might be worn? They've been in an old
jewelry box from my Grandmother, for many years.

I will take a stab.
1. Scarf clip (cannot see back)
2. Hat pin.
3. Fur clip
4. Belt buckle.

No. 2 and No.3 possibly Bakelite.

2 and 3 look old ? 1930s?

Not sure about 4 but possibly.

I dont think they are that old.
The first two most likely 60s, early 60s. The stones are glued in, not set in.
The next pair of bakelite shoe clips are earliest mid/late 40s. I like the plum color.
The cape hook looks to be manufactured late. Id bank around late 50s 60s.

Foofoo, the first one has a back similar to the third. It may have had a mate, I can't find it. I know these things weren't expensive. My Grammy had a sister in law who was very trendy and gave her things that she was tired of. She died in the 60's,and I've had them since then, so I think these things were older, just not high quality. I do like the third set, I've tried them on shoes and they seem too thick and heavy.
The last thing, the buckle or cape hook, is tin. No marks on it. It didn't seem reliable when I tried it as a belt buckle, so its interesting that it might be used for a cape.
Funny what you relatives pass down.

Now I see. I bet it did have a mate. Definitely Art Deco look to it then. I wonder if it had stones in it at one time. You may want to get the metal checked out.

I stand by fur clip or dress clips. Like these:

Your belt buckle is like this sort of.

This one is flimsy also. Possibly more of a sash belt buckle.
Iffy on the date of yours though but interesting. Now you have me curious on it. At least you have something from passed relatives. Charming. I especially love the hat pin.

I found a few more,
156343_1236872658977_1744062716_442085_2535816_n.jpg

The rose buttons were glued somehow to the pinback and I don't know how the
clear plastic chain worked into it. The V shaped pin was her initial. The bar pin is heavy,
for a coat or hat maybe?
Thank You for your help.

I was wondering if anyone in here is well educated with men's tags/ Not sure on the age of this I was thinking 50's or 60's? The material is a silky woven jersey material. Not 70's poly at all. Sorry for the bad phone photos.
