You started it (for me) with that awesome collection of yoursI'm still looking for a mint 44-46 with action-shoulder gussets, sans beavertail, with button cuffs. Then I will truly be in Cal Heaven

I might have what you need.Currently spending a lot of money on jackets, but someday I want one too.
I need a slim 42 with long sleeves.
Meant to post this a few months ago when I bought it (off a Facebook group) but ended up traveling with work. Just got back.
I believe it may be either an early CAL or Starglove. It's had a new main zip and full lining replacement at some point. VERY solid jacket still and very wearable. One questionable area of sunburn on the back shoulder.
The pocket placement is indeed unusual, but surprisingly useful. It's kinda like having D pockets on either side and it's pretty easy to access the pockets compared to hand warmers. I can see how it's convenient when on a bike.
It came with the original mouton that is a great color but bald in a few places.
Loving this as a daily jacket.
What is the significance of the stitching? (forgive my innocence)Meant to post this a few months ago when I bought it (off a Facebook group) but ended up traveling with work. Just got back.

Love that particular jacket. I have seen one in the flesh at Cal leather's shop. They also make a very cool tan variation. The pin stripped and checkered lining on those jackets is tough as nails. Could it be military? I am guessing the jacket is early 50s.Only second Starglove D Pocket I’ve seen.

What a jacket... Like a high-end Star glove? Let's see if it has any hints of Trojan? Can you share some images of the inner hem? Old Star glove and Early Cal's did an angle hem join to facilitate mobility. Lastly, The lining looks interesting. The batch patch looks like my early Californians. By the way, the jacket looks great on you.Does anyone have any info on Well Made Jacket Co? 40's jacket, very similar to StarGlove/Cal

It’s not my jacket, it’s a guy I follow on Instagram from Japan. What a jacket... Like a high-end Star glove? Let's see if it has any hints of Trojan? Can you share some images of the inner hem?
