This is the completed hat That Duck and me and my daughter helped sand on. I think after majormoore got us out of the way he was able to get down to work and whip this beauty out!

It was amazing the difference in the felt after sanding!

He will have to give the specifics on it, but I remember looking at the vintage ribbon on it!

I've really been enjoying reading all these posts from you who got to visit Major Moore's shop and I have to say I might be a bit jealous. That hat is really nice lookin' especially with that light ribbon on it. By the way, is that hat black or gray?

I think I may need to PM the Major about one of those Moorlites. They look very fine to me.

Hi Dee, i saw a new Hat today That is Awsum , i was told that you wanted a Burgandy Hat with your Initals stamped in the sweatband. You'll have to wait for MM to show it to you. Beleive me ..... it is awsum.....

I sort of use Luke as a tester, he see's alot of the hats, and he did hold and go over the hat, he hard a hard time that is was the staple weight body, and not the 100% beaver weight, he loved the soft velvet touch the hat had to it, and we both thought the ribbon did look good on that hat, he saw and held Indycop's hat that I brought back from the dead, so to speak, and was most impressed, but the one he really liked is the surprise hat I am sending you, he thought it was a nice hat, like I told him and Indycop in a e-mail there is a very small speck in the brim on one side, hard to see, but I can, so I decided to make something worthy out of it and will be shipping it and Indycop's hat to ya'll maybe Wed but for sure Thursday, your dark brown hat you left me, I am waiting for the new 1 3/8" wide sweatbands to get here, that is what I need to use in this hat, and I have another hat here from a FL'er that also needs a smaller sweat due to the taper both hats have, my wide 2" don't lay right in these type hats.

It would be nice to have one, I make alot of cowboy hats that were worn in the old west, Boss of the Plains is a one that seems to have a caught on with alot of SASS people this past year, but you still see more Gus style hats at the match's

What club do you belong to, my two are Memphis Tn and Byhalia, MS but have not been able to shoot in a long.
