I did a web search on 40's and 50's style leather brief cases. There name came up. Then i wrote them and they said they would be selling on USA Ebay and the shipping cost to the USA was $35.00. I wish i could do a web search for crooks as easy.

This case is the best one i've owned in 30 years! I use it every day and its still looks great. The quality in the case i would have expected to pay $400 or $500 for. The leather,brass and overall workmanship is bar none. I would buy another one if i needed one in a heart beat.

I know this might have been discussed before, but does anyone have a recommendation for a leather briefcase? I found this one, and it's pretty much what i want, but if there are others out there I'd like to know before I order this one.

Check out Wilson's leather. They ALWAYS seem to be having a sale. Even the retail outlets. They are pretty good for gloves, wallets, briefcases, etc... I picked up a leather briefcase that is really nice for $89. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

I got mine from Germany. Once a month or so they have a auction where they'll start the biding at a dollar. I got mine including shipping for less than $200.00
It is a very well made top quality case. Its the best one i have carried in 37 years.

Starts out stiff though softens over time. Looks great as it gets worn in. It is jsut like the stuff you find vintage. Sergei has an old WWII Document case and the leather is very similar.
