I've owned 5 different Borsalino "San Remo" models and they are NOT created equal. The felt has been different on each - this one has the highest quality felt (Light, Soft and Pliable). Typically, you'll see greys and browns but rarely a jet black.
For all of you Godfather ii aficionados out there - this is similar to the hat that Corleone's bodyguard wore.
