There is a family friend who claims he owns a Borgward, though I don't know where it is stored. It's doubtful that it is in running condition. I used to have my heart set on a Peugeot, which was a step up from a series of Renaults that I owned. I especially liked the little 304, if I remember the number correctly, but about the time I decided I could afford one, they dropped out of the market. The Saab 96 would have been an interesting choice but my appointed mechanic warned me against it. I've driven a couple of Citroën sedans but they were scarce. We've had Volvos for the past 35 years and my wife's current one is 19 years old.
There are lots of cars I never got around to owning and now it's too late, from Desoto's to Oldsmobile's. Where will it all end?
