While rock and jazz drummers get a lot of notice--and not without good reason, there's some awesome drummers in both genres--country music is often neglected. I saw Junior Brown perform some years back and got to see him with this drummer, Pete Amaral. This guy does more with a simple snare, kick drum and cymbal than most guys can do with these gigantic trap sets that need a separate road crew to haul around and set up. Who says country drummers can't drum?
