That is gorgeous. It stands out even in your quick-shot image. As always, I continue to be mesmerized by Bob's work. Congratulations!

He posted a bowler on facebook that has got to me the coolest bowler I've ever seen. Does that/will that belong to anyone here? If I had that kind of cash all at once I'd order one immediately!

Wore the Savannah all week in Philadelphia while at a conference. The gray band and binding allows the hat to be worn with a range of suits. It's much softer than the Gold Finch and extremely comfortable. Got several nice comments from passersby.

Just made a deposit on my second Blacksheep. I don't know what hat I want just yet, but I have some time to decide. I like the Traveler, with the 1930s look to it, but the True-Step is nice too. More to follow...
Best,
TomS

Returned home from a visit with Bob and the lovely Alex where I picked up my new hat along with 4 vintage refurbs he did for me. It was a true display of hat porn when I walked in the door and saw all my hats laid out on the table. Wish I had a pix.

So here's what I brought home:

Here's what a moth bit filthy Stetson Sovereign looks like after a Bob job:

And a nice touch I found inside the nice BSHW box complete with cedar block on the lid:

Now for the prize, my second Bob lid which he's calling The Passport, the specs are on his website which he has updated with some new porn BTW so you all should check it out anyway.

Fine wide ostrich sweat and pimp liner:

Pecan beaver with feather. Bob's trying to bring back the feather and I'm on board with that:

Fine crease work typical of Bob:

And of course I couldn't leave w/o putting a deposit on another neat hat Bob is working up. I'll only mention long hair and pencil brim. Thank you Bob!

Stunning! To my eye Bob's hats capture really classic lines and shapes but with a unique contemporary flair. This hat looks fantastic Mike, great choices!

Thanks Jeff, just cold and rain here so far, no snow here yet except in the mountains. Yep, the coat is a vintage Pendelton and perfect for this climate. Bob is playing with the pencil brims and I wanted a long hair so it was natural to combine them for my next hat. It will be right up your alley too, a kinda Homburg hybrid.

Thanks CPT, look forward to seeing your next one!
