Thanks David, I love the ostrich sweat too, not to mention the nice lacing of the bow too.

Thanks Manfred, I waited a long time for this one but it was worth it!

Hi

Nice hat, I like the color and the Ostrich sweat band. Most Ostrich I've felt was SOFT, that might be a good idea for others to copy. Was it more expensive?

CPT and Mike, super hats, guys.

It's always nice to see more of Bob's work - he is just so super creative.

I'm thinking about a Black Sheep milan for next summer, already!

Thanks Mike, the ostrich sweat is a no cost option.

David, your right about Bob and in case you don't know, he has access to some vintage style grass milan now as well as the hemp. The grass milan is really soft and flexible.

Received delivery of a Keynote this week. I'm on the road so no pics yet but Bob has photo of it up on his Facebook page. I went with an underwelt rather than raw brim. Usual excellent Black Sheep product.

Bob does some wonderful work, but this is what interests me the most. I LOVE that he uses ostrich for the sweatband. Its a touch that is unseen today. Its also wonderful that he used that great vintage looking rear sweatband ribbon technique. Is the sweatband 2 inches wide?

Thanks Josh. The sweat is 2" wide. Bob is a student of the vintage hat as well as having a creative vision of his own. His workmanship is beyond reproach. He loves a challenge, just ask.

A variation on the Keynote arrived. Rather than a raw brim, I had Bob do an underwelt. Usual great Black Sheep quality and the shade of gray will be very versatile.

The sweatband seemed even nicer than my others:
