I've been doing lots of research and I love this hat, but it tends to run about $250 - $265 - more than I'd like to spend right now. I found two other online vendors who carry it, but are these vendors reputable? I want to be sure the Como they're selling is the real deal because they have the best prices.

I've not seen the Como for less than these prices. What do you think?

Also, and I may be wrong here, I think that Hatbox listing is out of date. I tried the rest of the site for results and got none.

You can't go wrong with Bencraft. They maybe a little more than what you've found, but they are the best REAL price around for Borsos.

If you are looking for a like-new Como in 61cm for considerably less, you can PM me. I have one in Black.

+1 on Bencraft. They had pretty much every size and I paid $200 a few years ago (I think the List on that hat is $300).

Borsalino Bellagio is the one!

I stopped by a local hatter today and tried on the Borsalino Bellagio in gray and wow! What a hat! It fit and felt perfect...but I did not buy it...yet. I am waiting to see if I can find it for less somewhere else. This vendor wanted $265.00 which apparently is a decent price, but who knows?...maybe it will pop up for a little less. The crown is lower than the Como and that is what I liked best about it. Very few vendors carry it.

Borsalino Bellagio - Love it!!!

After doing some online research and finding that the Borsalino Bellagio is sold only by very few vendors and at a price much higher than my local hatter's, I returned to DelMonico's Hatter in New Haven and bought one. I opted for the gray one. It is soft and fits perfectly. Plus one of the owners, Bruce, gave me a nice discount so the whole cost came to just $250.00. This was the lowest price I have seen for the Bellagio and since they sold out of my size for the other colors, I decided to grab it while I could. I'll take some photos and post them.

I do have one question about hat sizes, though. Normally, will getting a haircut make any difference in hat size? I am just about due for one and I had to buy the Bellagio in one size larger than what I usually take. Bruce said they tend to run large. Any thoughts about this? Thanks.
