Hi I'm new so if you are saying to yourselves "Who is this, do I know her?" No you do not...yet ;)
This are my before and after styling of my last haircut (about a year ago I am ashamed to admit.

Before (it was a middy cut believe it or not that was done by the book but with a bang)

And after! (though after the first few days my naturally curly hair relaxed a bit and when styled usually hit halfway down my neck unlike this nice tight curl here)

Right now I have my hair about shoulder length and it needs a trim....bad!

Hmmm, and now I have to confess that I don't always wear vintage, since I'm a bit of a chamaleon and I usually dress according to my mood (even though vintage is certainly the style I love the most since I came accross with it). Here go a few examples:

I also have to admit that I've rarely been wearing those gothic etc outfits since I discovered vintage, whenever I don't feel like doing much of an effort in dressing up / doing my hair & make-up I just use the "normal me" look :)

^ Very pretty, Amy! I actually think you look great both modern & vintage, but the red lipstick & hairstyle makes you stand out (in a good way) more in vintage. :)

Thanks!! :D Yea -- I have to agree that I look better with the lipstick on and the hair done. I don't know what it is -- maybe the magic of vintage -- but I feel happier and it shows, making me look better. If that makes sense...lol

Unfortunately, I got myself a "middy" haircut and it's been nothing but fail for me. Wet sets brush right out into Leather Tuscadero-like feathers. I haven't been setting my hair because there is no point -- unless I'm going for the 80s rocker chick look (which is NEVER).
