Well, it's finally time for me to come out of lurking, after a year or more. Here is my "before", probably not the kind of before that you all are used to seeing here.
This is last Friday. My hair hadn't been combed or cut in 7 years.
Yesterday, after some cutting, lots of combing, & more cutting. This is a 4" middy, done directly from the diagram by my amazing mathematician mom. Geometry finally pays off!
This morning, after my first pin curl set. It loosened a bunch during the day, thanks to all my bike riding. Still refining the technique a bit.
Looking forward to being able to join in more of the threads, now that I'm not just living vicariously though everyone elses hair!

i had m hair sooooo long in plans of dreading it, but i fell in love with the 20's before i got the change to dread it, its in a bob now hahaha
