I'm of the opinion that a donut is a waste all on its own. Separately, I think pairing maple and bacon is one of the most loathsome flavour combinations depraved minds have ever invented. I'm rather in awe that you managed to eat such a thing.

BTW I have seen a few comments about maple bacon donuts.
A well known donut place in town tried that.
For at least a year, people would line up for various donuts, and I'd hear "let me have a half dozen maple bacon donuts."

I had the maple, but if I had to, I'd get the others and just pick the bacon off.
I know, James just fell out of his chair on that one.
Maple donuts are really good warm, but with bacon?
Kinda like bacon cheesecake with pumpkin spiced coffee. :eeek:
Their glazed donuts do have a hint of vanilla in the icing.
I can't even ride by that place since I'm on low carb.

While others around me are putting out their festive fall decorations (at work), I'm still burning one of these (on a candle warmer) in the office.

If you walk into my office it doesn't smell like fall, it smells like someone has just cut the grass.
Why?
To confuse people.
Plus I can smell it without stopping my nose up with the real thing.

Save the bacon. Just don't put it on doughnuts. You want nastiness with all four things wrapped up together?!
