Yeah, I had been watching this one, thinking I might make a play for my first Johnnyphi, but you guys must have deeper pockets than I do... or else your hat addiction is just a tad more toxic than mine!

I think the addiction is just more toxic, jec. After a horrible visit to my tax accountant yesterday (actually, the visit was fine, but the results were depressing), only a person not in his right mind would be spending this much on a fedora the next day. So, this will likely be my last purchase for quite some time...

GWD, you're killin' me. Yeah, it's why I don't go for the ebay lids very often. 7 3/8 must be one of the most common of sizes, and as a result, every auction on them seems to end up high.

But $25.00? That's amazing--you scored big time. Me, I'll be teaching an extra class or two to make up for these Johnnyphi auctions. And I suspect the last two Lees--a 7 3/8 and a 7 1/2--will bag equally high prices. Maybe if I stick my head in a vice...:eusa_doh:

I've got a crap load of hats and only one pin-head! I wear only 3 or 4 of them on a regular basis. So moneys spent on hats are probably about even.
