At Last!!

I was amazed to see that "Orchestra Wives" is now on DVD.
It not only has Glenn Miller and his orchestra but also the Nicholas brothers.
The songs in "Kalamazoo', "At Last" and "Serenade in Blue"
The actors include the always adorable Ann Rutherford, a great role for Cesar Romero, as well as young Jackie Gleason and Harry Morgan.
The DVD has commentary from Ann Rutherford and one of the Nicholas Brothers (which I haven't yet listened to).

It's a good film to have to see the people you mention. But it's a GREAT film to have to watch the Kalamazoo number 6000 times just to see the Nicholas Brothers.
Style, grace, class, elegance, perfectionism, technique. Fred danced on the ceiling with camera trickery. The Nicholas Brothers actually danced on the walls!
