Ooo, this is fun!:
This Gun for Hire - Veronica Lake and Alan Ladd are so cute

Oh yes sir and might I add "Sullivan's Travels" with Joel McCrea and Veronica Lake? Also lots of fun, I love her, and have most of her DVD's (not all).

On the sad note, I find it plan horrible on how Veronica Lakes life ended (I know she isn't alone, there are many others) and how her remains where treated, I’d only wish that on my worse enemies, not from a film noir Goddess like her. Guess once your dead, your dead it doesn't matter, how sad :( Well she lives on in films like so many others, thats for sure.

What Price Hollywood? (1932)

Nickelodeon (1976)

Ramona (1910)

Bugsy Malone (1976)

I wouldn't choose what I've seen and want others to see, I'd choose what I haven't seen or hasn't been shown yet.

1. Gilda (1946)
2. Pandora's Box (1929)
3. Of Human Bondage (1934)
4. The House on Haunted Hill (1959)
5. Freaks (1932)

I have noticed with these I have selected, it pretty much
involves a theme of how a woman's love can cause great ruin....
Anyhow, there are hundreds of great films to choose from, but
these came to mind for different reasons & thinking of the viewer
I would want to break up the heavy drama with some fun haunted
house moments hence "The House on Haunted Hill" ...and then
I would take you into the final film "Freaks" which would have
a little bit of that drama & horror. I guess if I had one more
I would add a Nick & Nora Charles flick "The Thin Man" for some
comedy relief.

P.S. CherryRed....I love "The Women" ~ Great Flick!
