I picked up a nice hat made by White Way Hatters out of Nashville Tenn. It looks like an older hat, and I'd like some history on the company if anyone knows about them.

I bought a nice hat at the flea market today. It has a picture of a cowboy on a bucking bronco and 2 stars under it. Under the stars, it says " a product of John B. Stetson company ". All in gold with a brown saddle on the horse. I can't find anything out about it. Can u help?

I'm brand new to this site and I'm not sure how to do that...

I figured you were having trouble . If you take a picture with a smart phone , send an email to your computer . (This is the way I do it) Then download it , then when posting a downloaded image or whatever , use the Middle Red {Upload a File} Option . If off the web copying images , use the thing to the right of the smily face above the post .

Here's a Few "Last Drop" Stetson Liners ...

Stetson’s “Last Drop” Liner

The “Last Drop” crown liner was a recurring image for Stetson from the 1950s onward. The first “Last Drop” liner was an elaborate embroidered affair. But by the 1970s and 80s the company moved to a screen printed style to save production costs.

Possibly. I can't find a thing like it. There are two. Stars under it also.
On the box, th shipping label is from " Stetson hat company group" St.Joseph Missouri. Athletes an old ups stamp dated 12/85.
Hopefully someone will come across with some info...

George321, it's nigh on impossible to specifically identify a hat from such a photo. It could be one of a number of hats. It's difficult to pick up details from this, or other similar photos; it's tough to even see the ribbon. Just spitballin', but probably a Borsalino, since that's Max Von Sydow and the hat has a bit of a European look to it - fairly tapered crown. But to know exactly what it is, you'd be better off sending Max a note.

However, this looks similar.

Thank you for your reply! I found one that appears to be very similar to this hat. It's called Christys' fur felt foldaway fedorah hat.http://www.fedoras.com/shop-by-hat-brands/christys.html

From your expert opinion, is it the same as what Max von Sydow is wearing?

I have no expert opinion. I can only comment on what I can see, and Max's hat is difficult to see the details on since everything is black. Could be the Borsa, could be the Christy's. If you like the Christy's, and it looks similar enough to you, go for it.

Hi there, first post, here goes...

I really want a similar to the one David Bowie is wearing here but have no idea where I would go about finding one - does anyone know what this style of hat is called?

Apologies it's not a very clear picture.
