Shy or outgoing?

Active or a couch potato?

What was your favorite toy?

What sports, if any, did you like to play?

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group?

.

Wow. Personal stuff. Kind of like beginning with a new therapist.

I was shy, but active, but I did watch TV.

I had a few great toys. Favorite was based on how old I was at the time. My bike, hockey equipment, Matt Mason Space Station, just to name a few.

I played hockey, softball, stickball, basketball, boxball, box-baseball, frisbee, skelly.

I was on the small side.

Shy or outgoing? Most definitely shy - still am. I agonised a lot in my early teens about trying to fit in, but in time came to prefer being an individual.

Active or a couch potato? A little of both - I loved cycling everywhere, but I loved my couch time too, still do :)

What was your favorite toy? Lego and Airfix kits, loved making them. Anything mechanical.

What sports, if any, did you like to play? Hm, I was never any good at sports but played soccer a lot

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group? Regular

I had giant bucked teeth - the kind beaver boys brag about in the locker room. Pretty ugly little kid, I think, and teen for that matter. Very few friends. Beaten up every recess in third grade. Learned to hold a grudge forever without doing anything about it. Became a schemer. After staying back in third grade I began to excel gradewise. Videogames, short stories and band were my life. Thought everyone that did like me was just being sarcastic - discovered some realities after years passed and we reacquainted on Facebook - IE I could've had more friends than I did if I wasn't so cynical. Hated most everyone at the time. No luck with women - not that I had the guts to try. Was told a few times, it was my choice of friends holding me back from having friends, so I abandoned some of them and tried to be like everyone else. Didn't quite work out. Didn't know I was doing horribly at it till college. It wasn't till I held a real job after college that I figured everything out. Now, aside from loathing everything I was up to about a year ago, I think I'm just great. I've got 31 years of wasted life to catch up on and I've been working at it like crazy. I'm not going to die with regrets.

Shy or outgoing? As a very young child, I'd talk to anything that moved. That kinda tapered off with age.

Active or a couch potato? Both.

What was your favorite toy? My train sets and Matchbox cars. Plus, anything that allowed me to build (Legos, Erector Set, model kits, etc.)

What sports, if any, did you like to play? Baseball, although I clearly had no aptitude for it.

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group? Average.

Shy or outgoing? I was never shy, I think I was born 45. Ridiculously outgoing, not so now.

Active or a couch potato? Both. I was in stage school, I did Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern dance, as well as various instruments. Hated every bit of it. I liked Cartoon Network and 70's music.

What was your favorite toy? A beanie baby of sorts, apparently I screamed until I got it.

What sports, if any, did you like to play? No sports, though in later years developed a love for rugby. I built things often as well.

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group? Regular.

I hear you, Pompidou. Know exactly what you mean.

Shy or outgoing?
Shy, I was a wallflower even in HS. I was a late bloomer. Oh, and I was the goodie-two-shoes of us five kids in my family.

Active or a couch potato?
a couch po-tah-to. I only did the minimum required to pass P.E. Class in Junior High and HS.

What was your favorite toy?
When I was little I had a stuffed fabric 'autograph' dog, that friends of mine signed. And I had a bubble cut Barbie, that I chewed on the fingers of.

What sports, if any, did you like to play?
None, I sat with Mom on the lawn and watched my (all younger) siblings play sports.

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group?
Small and short, my nickname at one time was 'shrimp'. For 8th grade graduation ceremonies, my Mother sewed my dress, as I couldn't even fit int a Junior size One yet. I grew to my present height in 9th grade.

As a little girl I was very outgoing and talked to everyone. I was the kid that sat on top of the desk with their back to the teacher talking to the kid sitting behind me. Around the age of eight, when my HUGE buckteeth came in and I had to start wearing glasses I became painfully shy. I was labeled a dork and only had about three good girl friends that used to boss me around. In junior high (7th grade) my mom put braces on me and I didn't get them off until I was in tenth grade. Because of my dork status, I stared hanging out with punks and mods (I was a mod) in my first year of High School, because it was better to be a cool dork than just a dork, or so I thought. When we moved in my sophomore year up north from LA and my parents put me in a private school I was able to start over and wasn't so much a dork, but more of a freak. My lopsided hair didn't go over very well in hick land  I'm still shy, but I talk a lot to cover it up. For whatever reason I was and have always been more compfortable around boys than girls. Probably because they weren't as mean.

I was a little of both. When I was young I was outside a lot, but as a teenager I would hangout in my room quit a bit. I loved to read and draw, so I spent a lot of time doing that.

My favorite toy? I have a stuffed dog named Brownie that was my mothers and it was passed onto my daughter. I loved Barbies and Breyer horses.

I was heavily involved in english horseback riding and my weekends were spent at horse shows. I loved to ride ATCs, skied (water and snow) and although I didn't play baseball at school I loved to play with my brother and his friends. I can hit the heck out of a ball ;)

I was really short and so skinny (not the case anymore) that a doctor asked my mother one time if I was anorexic. I actually ate like a pig. I was teased about it all the time by other kids, especially about being flat chested. That changed the summer after I turned sixteen :D

Shy or outgoing? I was very outgoing, hasn't really changed much. I have never met a stranger, just folks that are a bit strange.

Active or a couch potato? Active. Very, very active. That's changed some, comes of having a desk job.

What was your favorite toy? The great outdoors. if I could find it outside it was my plaything. Still is.

What sports, if any, did you like to play? Was a boxer, still am to some extent. Played Football, basketball, and hockey. Though never really good at those particularly.

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group? I was tall for my age, hit six foot at 13, but lean. My fighting wieght at 16 was 150 lbs. now it's 185.

Shy or outgoing? Very outgoing!

Active or a couch potato?
Completely active - I literally ran everywhere - I had a lot of energy then and still do thank God!

What was your favorite toy? I loved Sindy (not Barbie).

What sports, if any, did you like to play? I never played sports really - wasn't into volleyball or tennis or anything like that - I much preferred running - I had a lot of energy to use up as a kid.

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group? I have always been slim even though I wasn't aware of it as a kid or teenager - people called me skinny all the time but even as a teen I had no idea what size of clothing to get and used to buy clothes that were too big for me - I really hadn't a clue!

As a "little kid" (up to age 10 or 11)

Shy or outgoing? I'd say in the middle, with a slight lean to outgoing.

Active or a couch potato? Active for sure. I would play outside from daylight till after dark.

What was your favorite toy? Lincoln Logs

What sports, if any, did you like to play? We didn't have "organized sports" as a young kid like they do today. I did, however, like to play typical schoolyard games like Red Rover, tag, etc.

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group? I was taller than average for my age.

As a "teenager" (Junior High to High School)

Shy or outgoing? Still toward the middle, with a slight lean to outgoing (and a "devious streak" that was very well hidden).

Active or a couch potato? Active for sure. Camping, hiking, rock climbing, hunting and fishing were my activities.

What was your favorite toy? After age 16 it was my '62 Plymouth, a case of PBR, and a car full of cheerleaders after the game.

What sports, if any, did you like to play? "Organized sports": Football (I played offensive line). "Other sports": the great game of "Red Light" (see favorite toy above).

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group? I was taller than anyone in my class (6' -2" and 185 lbs when I graduated high school).

Shy or outgoing? Outgoing. The only time I ever got in trouble at school was talking in class. I missed many recesses at the old chalkboard writing "I will not talk in class, I will not talk in class..."

Active or a couch potato? Coach potato, unless you count marching band as being active.

What was your favorite toy? "GI Joe" - the original ones, before down-sizing. (Something to do with millitayr budget cuts?)

What sports, if any, did you like to play? Sports? I played trumpet!

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group? Boringly average.

do you swing dance now? I bet you'd be fabulous

Yeah, although not often enough. I have been swing dancing for five or six years, and knew how to much sooner than that. I also dabble in latin dancing. I really enjoy merengue especially. Of the standards, I can only waltz, although I plan to remedy that sooner or later. Charleston is also high on my list, instead of just some charleston steps in swing.

As soon as I meet a beautiful Argentine girl to teach me, I will learn tango. I tried learning at a ballroom studio, it was boring.

I was shy and liked keeping to myself for the most part although I had a few good friends. I had toys but once I was old enough preferred to go off into the woods and explore. The land across from my house was national forest land then but has since been subdivided into McMansions:(.
I was interested in music from as far back as I can remember and started with piano lessons at age 5. To my regret I never took the lessons seriously, preferring to mess around and play by ear. My dad studied commercial art so art was another thing I was always involved in. When I got into high school my sketchpad was a constant companion. I was fascinated by beatniks when I was about 8 years old and used to draw guys with berets and goatees all the time. I lived in Arizona in cowboy culture from 3rd to 6th grade and then returned to California. First day in California 6th grade I insisted, against my mom's advice, on wearing my cowboy shirt & cowboy boots. I seriously damaged my coolness factor with that outfit and quickly switched to white Levi's & Pendleton shirts, the surfer outfit of the time. I didn't enjoy team sports much and preferred sports like tennis & surfing.

Shy or outgoing?
Very very very very shy.
Thát shy, that I talked through my stuffed animals.
It gave me unfortunate situations in social environments. Still does....only I don't speak through stuffed animals anymore hihi

Active or a couch potato?
Active...with drawings, books and such. ......On the couch.

What was your favorite toy?
Stuffed animals

What sports, if any, did you like to play?
None.

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group?
I was very skinny and small.

Also, I was a dead serious kid. Not really a little know it all, but I had more general knowledge than others of my age. I was always reading and learning. My brains were and still are, like a spunge.
I had a dark sense of humor aswell. Almost creepy.

Thats me as a little kid in a nutshell.

Shy or outgoing?
so very very shy! I was awfully shy, even with extended family. I remember once my grandmother asked me a simple question and I was so shy I was literally mute and couldn't answer. Awful. But gradually I grew out of this and thankfully am fairly outgoing now!

Active or a couch potato?
A bit of both, seeing as my favourite pastime as a kid was to read books. But when I got a little older I loved horse-riding.

What was your favorite toy?
Not sure.. I had some dolls and a sort of monkey-looking thing called a "monchichi", I think it was Japanese. But I mostly played with my two imaginary friends who I maintained lived in a hole in the flowerbed outside my window. Weird kid, I know!

What sports, if any, did you like to play?
I hated sports, and still do! Except for horse-riding, which I loved (and still do).

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group?
fairly average but slightly on the large side. I always thought I was fat of course, but remember being told by the school nurse that I was absolutely normal weight and shouldn't worry, and looking back at photos, I was completely "normal", I just happened to have a couple of very skinny friends.

Shy or outgoing?
VERY shy. In fact, almost lived in my own world.

Active or a couch potato?
Couch... Specially when I started to read. Never liked sports.

What was your favorite toy?
A kind of lego, with bigger pieces.

What sports, if any, did you like to play?
None. Long time after, started with chess - but then I wasn't a kid anymore.

Were you small, regular, or large for your age group?
Not tall, and a little over weight... ;)

I haven't changed much. As a kid, I loved old cars, collected model cars, and started collecting antiques around age 6. I've always loved old things. I used to sit in our family room by myself and listen to George Jones, Johnny Horton, Conway Twitty, The Statler Brothers, etc. I wasn't your typical kid.
