Art, thanks again. The Pan-Cattleman turned out great. I'll try to get some head shots for you. Believe it or not, it finally cooled off here in south Texas. So it hasn't had any serious head time yet except around the house. I actually had to wear a jacket yesterday!

This is the latest hat that Art built for me. The Blue Smoke is almost as soft as my Artlite. It has just a wonderful feel to it, and it takes a crease without any effort.

Art's had a Vintage Clothing store in the building across the st. Pomona & 2nd. Crockett CA

that store was packed with Killer clothes & museum quality stuff. My Mom lives on the hill up top right.....

Not Mom's But lots of cool Painted Ladies (victorians) in Crockett . Looks better on Rebecca !

Great hat sir. Your new hat is sublime from the left side and then, WHAM the right side ribbon and hat strikes your eye. Very nice sir. Letting Art have his way with the ribbon work is fun and the outcomes are sharp.

Che, I love it when you get a new hat. Your shared pics let me see a world that I do not get to visit. Your hats are classy and fit you to a T.

Below is an unusual hat Art recently made me. I had an older Hopkins of Baltimore Panama Hat that had a cattleman's crease and a wide 3 1/2 or 4 inch brim. It was a beautiful hat but unfortunatelty the brim had a crack in the straw. The crown however was still in nice shape so I sent it off to Art and he made a Dualist out of it for me. The brim felt is Mojave and the ribbon is a dark brown. As always, Art did a fantastic job and I love the hat. When I showed Che a picture of it he appropriately dubbed it a "Pan-Cattleman". Thanks Art and thanks Che for the nickname!

Thanks Eric. Art did a great job on it. It is definitely unique. I don't think I have ever seen a Dualist type hat with a cattleman's crease. I'm really proud of it. I was thinking about having another one made with a wider brim for a full western hat look.
