My Art-lite Sahara will be in Germany, but only for a bit over a week in mid-September. I actually ordered it specifically for this trip - something light-coloured for weather that I hope still feels a bit like summer, and also something that will not be too hot. Plus something that could get rained on.
Traveling with just one hat maked versatility important, and I agree that the Sahara is a very versatile colour.

Of course I've been wearing it most days since it arrived :)

Where will you be going to in Germany? I keep thumbs pressed for some nice weather. We should have earned it after last year was springs and falls only!

Conference in Weimar, followed by a couple of days of wine-tasting along the Rhine (Bacharach).

In years past I've been roasted in the heat and chilled by the rain. So an Art-lite hat seemed the best solution.

Thank you for your nice words, Gentlemen! I am happy that I went for "Sahara" and the feather is the icing on the cake.
@kaoshaper1: You´re so right! I really have to get myself together, maybe I console myself with a cap before ordering another. :D
@ShadedDude: You know a good lantern when you see one! :eusa_clap

Thank you Johnny! I think the c-crease takes away a bit of the height which makes it easier on the eye. Although meanwhile I prefer it , I still have to get used to 40ies hat style.
