Get the black cherry Benny and you will love it. It is such a deep rich color. Of course, Art has so many great colors. I think the sunset will be my next.

Got mine yesterday and I can truly say that everything you guys have said about this man is the truth! I gave him basic parameters and a color and let him decide the rest. It is AWESOME. I will get some pics up later, but I'm having pc issues right now and am relegated to blackberry posts only...

Pecan. And I absolutely LOVE it!!! I'm back on line now, so I will probably have some pics up tomorrow. I thought I knew what vintage was but boy was I wrong! I have been an Indy fedora guy, but now I realize how much of a characateur that hat can be of vintage lids. These proportions are perfect for me. Did I mention I love it?

Exquisite, Tom! On my monitor, and in the late afternoon light the taller hat even looks to have shades of peach, or Art's sunset.

Greyfox, Delectans,

The hat with the dark (purple ribbon) is a Montecristi fino, and it gets slowly ivory. However it is all the plays of light that made it this yellow. This is also a special take to Panamabob that his hats are equaly beautiful in winter too. Never saw a summer hat in the snow - nice contrast though.

The right hat with the taller crown is the ivory color of Art's palette in pure beaver felt- it also reflects the light which had a very intense coloration this afternoon, this is why I wanted to share this short-lived visual beauty with you aficionados. The whole light had some 5-10 minutes afterwards the "golden" colours faded.

The sunset colour seems to be an elusive one especially on the photo of our own dguy -the Lounges best hat photographer and a gentleman.
