Still here. I'm the outlier that dresses for practical reasons. I'm really not into impressing anyone. Always looking to see if anything interesting shows up that works with my long arms and short torso. The fashion scene seems ridiculous most of the time with men bundled up under many layers of clothing, and the woman is wearing a sleeveless, and backless outfit. I dont understand all the jacket wearing indoors. I spend a lot of time outside. When I go inside(if it's 60 or below jacket weather) the jacket is the first thing to go. House set at 68 degrees.

Where I live, you also see the opposite -- it could be 15 degrees out and you see people walking down the street making no concession to the reality of the weather at all except for a puffy vest. And then they complain they're cold when they have to stand at an outside window to buy a movie ticket.

I don't own any "modern" clothes, not because I'm trying to make any kind of a point, but because I'm a woman over sixty who would look ridiculous in a band t-shirt and leggings. (Besides, who ever heard of a Fats Waller and His Rhythm t-shirt?)

I'm the same way! Why in the world do you wear a jacket in your house unless your house is freezing?

I was looking around the other day for an Andrew's Sisters tee shirt...... yeah, that didn't happen. Apparently I'm the only person interested in wearing one of those. But I do have a sun records tee shirt and I have my eye on a Hank Williams shirt too. I've noticed it's the cool thing these days for younger people (born after the 90s) to wear band shirts...bands they've never even heard of let alone actually like and listen to. My niece being one of those people. She refuses to listen to one single song to see if she does like the band that she proudly wears... I just don't get it.

I graduated high-school in 1973. If you look at this year's yearbook, it almost looks like the same style.
While testing fighter jets outside, on a windy 20 degree day, i wore my Jack Wolfskin parka with a fur hood, my teammate had a Champion sweatshirt on. He was from California and didn't own a jacket. No complaints from either one of us on the cold. I find it more unbearable to be too hot than too cold.
