I stand by my comments. The jacket is not a BR or other high-end repro, as Ausreenactor says, these cheaper jackets came with CBI and 8th AAF patches (!?), no doubt many owners removed them!. I am sure they have a value but not in the range of the far more accurate BR, ELC or RM ones. In that link above where they tried to sell it as an original, I wonder if the guys at the 303rd Hell's Angels site know they are using one of their photos? http://www.303rdbg.com/uniforms-gear.html

Found a listing with the actual patches that the majority come with. A black bordered CBI and the 8th AAF patch. Not the cut edge CBI and 20th patches that the current listing comes with.

Took some searching. I knew I kept the links for a reason...

I think you are on to something here. Apart from the fact that my jacket is fitted with a Conmar instead of a Talon zipper it looks pretty close to this one. When I bought my jacket it was fitted with original CBI and 20th Air Force patches. But I revised my auction on eBay and let potential buyers judge for themselves.

Thx to all...
please just post scans of the patches front and back..
these photos were already requested a few threads ago.
Also, the hanger loop, stitched into the colar, plus a few other things look not as they should...
Anyway, please post detailledscans of the patches.
many thanks.

I have to agree with havocpaul, this jacket is not a Real McCoy. I also don't believe it to be a Buzz either, would have a label under the pocket flap. As stated above it is one of the other brands that came out with an affordable repro.

Here are a few pics of my RMC Stagg in size 44. You will note that RMC tag on the interior pocket, bet the one above does not have it.... Also of note, I included another photo of the Conmar Zip that would be correct for RMC, BR or ELC... not like the pocket zip pull used on listed jacket. The shearling does not look as quality as I am used to seeing on a high end brand either.

Now is it a close copy of a B10... sure. Is it a high end copy of compared quality to ELC, BR or RMC... well... I guess I will let the buyer decide that ...?

Hi
I am interested in buying a ( repro) B-10 flight jacket listed on Ebay.
However, I am very unsure about ( the repro) maker.
Its Ebay item:121659389928
Colar and hanger look not as they should be for a first class B-10 STAGG Co. repro. if made by a prime maker.
Please help or , happy to read your thoughts.
Thankyou all.
You might look at AT THE FRONT Militaria's B-10 jackets...I've got one, and they compare well to the original (rather beat-up) B-15 which I 'inherited' as a kid. hope this helps!
