you have closed my poll which was a result of this thread could you do the polite thing and close this thread ? which was started by Tomasso, with an unprovoked attack Targeting my use of a "different" font and colour

"Am I unacceptable here in the FL lounge for being the wrong colour and too big?" I think some of the members need to be reminded that tollerence is always a "Class Act"

I don't think we've had confirmation that Tomasso was targeting anyone specific. There are quite a few members using different fonts and sizes.

Obvious enough to me that Binkie was the font/color user who bothered Tomasso to the point of activism.

I thought B's Survey thread was a very lighthearted and playful way of handling the pile on.

I'm sure Scot has good reasons for forcing the font change, closing the survey and leaving this going. I genuinely would like to know as it may be edifying for other posters to learn where the limits are in terms of style and expression.

I dont go to the Gym and pump iron (or steroids) into my Pecs and parade around in a"Tank Top" and say this is me, I use my wit and intelligence to explain what I am about , nuf said (one hopes) I say what I have to say in a big orange font! please try to handle it, your are grown up

? What? I don't understand.

Also, sorry, I didn't realize we were attacking particular individuals here for daily posting. I am really remembering a certain outburst in which a certain member went for eye-searing color and size in order to, presumably, make a point.

I think it's best of we close this one, too.

Just a quick note, and this is really not a big deal:
Remember we are an archive of information. Much of what the Bartenders do is with an eye toward making things search-friendly in the future. Obviously, font style doesn't affect searches at all, but it does make page scanning by eye more challenging. Also, using BIG FONTS AND CAPS IS SHOUTING. We are all much too gracious, and Binkie especially so, to shout at one another, aren't we?

I don't want to seem to single any esteemed member out for scolding here. Others use larger fonts and colors for effect but rarely every time. We'd prefer not to edit everything to the default (as we don't have TIME (see how I shouted that? ). But please use the feature with judgment and pity for your fellow Loungers, now and in the future.
