An alternate Aeromarine??

Standard uniform for Friends of Aero group meetings?

More elegant than a rolled trouser leg and a secret handshake...

With apologies to Aero, I really think this design improves the Aeromarine. Something about the way the curved insets interact with the scalloped waist. Instant classic, I'd say.

Try to tilt the pockets down so they are almost horizontal and curve them slightly.

It would need a little fine-tuning but it is essentially there. Again, the lovely collar is the lure -- without distractions. A really unusual but aesthetically pleasing jacket that I would be really tempted to strain the credit card for.

OK, here's both the curved pocket versions - one more horizontal than the other. Take your pick:D;)

The one on the left - pockets are more utilitarian. I think they'd have to be straight, as the curve would 'appear' naturally through use and drape.

Here's some simple inset pockets....

Major, how about a markup of this one with an exposed stitch of the pocket bags?, eg an "internal" d pocket (if that makes sense). With the right thread color and pocket shape, I think it'd look killer

Basically, like this (VERY small detail- but I'm kind of a detail oriented kinda guy :D):

Here's where the current design input came from:

Basic pocket design - Edward

Curved pockets - Sir Jacket

Button & loop fastening - Edward

Angle of pockets - Hoosierdaddy

:D:D

I would happily stop with the two insert pockets - that's a really good, clean looking jacket. Ladies and gents, introducing the Double M! Or perhaps, The Lounger :eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap :D *Edit: actually, I'm sure this could be messed with endlessly. There's something about the jacket front that lends itself to it.
