I've been meaning to post this for a while, but the American Idol finale last night got me off my arse to do so.
*Not that I watched it or anything*
Jokes aside, I've been meaning to point out something strange (and cool) about this season of American Idol:
Almost every men's suit that was on the show was a Single-Breasted-Peaked-Lapel (SBPL).
I thought this was really weird, because from what I could gather among the "modern" folk was that a SBPL was a big no-no in the fashion industry. I guess I was wrong.
Ryan Seacrest, Simon Cowell, and several of the contestants were all wearing very nice peaked lapel jackets...and this is leading to my question; Where are all these men getting theses suits?
I've yet to find a SBPL in any stores, anywhere. They really are not popular - so how come all of a sudden they are popping up all over the show?
But regardless, are the peaked lapels coming back into style, or what? I think it's quite cool; I prefer the peaked over the notched by 110%.
Discussion...?
