Your stable has all the most coveted mounts, sir. Fantastic. And not one looks anything less than grand on you.

So tell me - does that Stratoliner hat fit in that narrow Sttratoliner box?

I wish the mail stork would bring something like that my way! I think that one is my favorite, but overall an impressive collection, Marc. You clearly have an eye for a quality hat, not to mention hats that flatter you.

Thanks for looking that up, Johnnysan! Saved me the trouble. That's a great term, Jake; I'll have to add that to my repetoire.

Most Americans find this stuff just incredible. Funnily enough it is big in Australia due to the Cockney criminal class that made up a lot of our convict ancestors and hence the Aussie accent is a lot of Cockney overlaid with Irish and other British accents.

When I worked in the airlines on the one aisle 707s you did not want to keep returning endlessly back to the galley for beers so you would grab your ear and wiggle it as a signal to your mate eg ear = pigs ear = beer. pork pies = lies = telling porkies.

The famous Cockney saying about a girl's looks was "great legs shame about the boat race" = face. Another expression is Mince pies = eyes = mincers as in "get you mincers off of that!".

Re Marcs collection - everyone is gas but for me crazy Mr Oviatt does it again. For BK that 30s Borsa is the one.

Baron, great looking collection. Which one is your favorite. After looking at them for about twenty times I have decided your 19teen/20 Borsalino is about as good a looking hat as any man should have the right to ask for. I would love to have Art make me one just like it. All look good on you.:)

man, Baron, those are some amazing hats. You have one heck of an eye. I esp. love the straws and the tom 'n' jerry.
Here's what I've got.

Marc, great collection. I enjoyed viewing all of them. I particularly liked the Green Courtney and the Grey Adam and the Stetson Bantam. :eusa_clap Of course I would take any one of them.:D

BK, your collection of hats was equally as enjoyable. I really liked the gray Adam and the Penney's Marathon. :eusa_clap I've always wanted to find one. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Ditto to the above post! And to think that you are of the opinion that thin ribbons don't look good on you. Nonsense!;) Do you guys like Dinerman, Douglas and yourself insure those collections? You really should!
