New acquisition. I sure like the colors- and the pin is likely coming off, as I am no golfer.
My CD is a 59, like pretty much all my hats. I believe that's about 7 3/8.
There is no better site. They will look after you.
Here are my current favorite Akubras, all modified in one way or another, from left to right:
Akubra silverbelly Campdraft (Size 58, 2 3/8 brim, 4 5/8 to front of pinch)
Akubra dark brown Federation IV (Size 59, 2 1/4 brim, 4 5/8 to front of pinch)
Akubra glen grey Campdraft (size 58, 2 1/2 brim, 4 5/8 to front of pinch)
I measure out at 22 3/4, so the Akubra 58 at 22 7/8 has always been great, almost perfect, fit (at least in winter). Then Jenny at hatsdirect recommended I try a 59 on the new fed I was picking up as an everyday summer hat. I never liked the feel of all the other slightly large hats I had to stuff, but the Akubra sweatband is so pliable I’m actually starting to like the feel of the 59 even more here in the heat. I’ll probably get all my future Akubras in a 59. Now I just wish they made a nice open crown in white.
Very nice. Almost makes a fella want to get out a sharp instrument and start trimmin' a bit around the edges.
Looks great...Think those might be the right dim's for me aswell....Thanks...Thanks Randall, it seems to balance out and feels right. Now I’ll know what size to pick up when I finally do get a custom.
Landman - I’ve never quite figured out how those brim trimming tools are supposed to work. I should do a search, using the scissors is a stressful experience!
Landman, thanks for the link. I have been looking for one of those for several months.

I just picked this Akubra for a song on Ebay. Can any of you tell me what model of Akubra it is? I've seen some with the pug added later...is this one of those, or did they ever come from the factory this way?http://www.ebay.com/itm/29071175589...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648#ht_2396wt_1386
Thanks Landman, when it arrives there may be more info on the sweatband, as you say. That looks like it could be a Riverina but it doesn't say anything on the front of the sweatband. I have an older Riverina that has the name on the sweatband. Yours looks a lot older than mine though. Looks like a great hat.
