Hello good folks of TFL, hoping everyone is well & safe

Just received a new jacket from Thurston Bros, this is a Sheene in Natural CXL. I would love to have your views on the stretch marks on some parts of the jacket. I have more than a few CXL jackets in both Steer & FQHH, and although I understand that each hide has its own unique characteristics, feel & look, and CXL is known to 'grain' more/better(subjectively) than most leathers, but I don't think this is the 'grain' of the leather coming out, rather looks more as leather stretch marks?
What do you think?

I currently am selling in the classified section a natural Italian half belt from Aero.
Your jacket looks awesome- completely normal and expected in my opinion.

Looks good to me. Only issue I ever have with hella grain is when it is not symmetric. Such as one area of one sleeve really grainy and other is not at all. Luckily my current aeros were cut in such a way the grain patters are really symmetrical

It looks completely normal to me, and very nice grain at that.

@Monitor i think that would depend on the colour and type of the leather. On your black jacket, they sure look good, and make the jacket unique. I am not sure how they would look on Natural CXL or Vicenza
@Guppy don’t have a scale, will try to weigh and update later. It is substantial but not too heavy. Weight is in similar territory of my other CXL FQHH jackets, but definitely not in CXL Steerhide territory(actual glad about that). UPS says total package was 7lbs, if that helps

It was purchased an year back, but it hasn't seen much usage since. I am sure it will patina very nicely though, once it sees some sun
