I like it but it would be too hot for here too. I can't get behind a wool lining. Very nice looking jacket, Nick, why not hang onto it for a year and keep a record of how often you wear it? If it's less than 10 weeks sell it.

I don't know Seb, I'm wearing the hell out of my alpaca lined Hercules and that would be a lot warmer than a wool tartan, I don't find them warm at all.

Hey, most of my custom made, high end jackets ended up here after a month or so I got 'em so I hear you. I'm just really sad you're letting this one go. As I said, nothing makes me happier than seeing someone find that perfect jacket, like Dude did. Like I did with the Schott. This is a great one, Nick. But the Lesco was great as well.

Fair enough, but I find leather too warm as it is most of the time for our climate, let alone leather with a wooly lining. How you guys can wear 3oz leather in Sydney is beyond me. When I've lived there I've never wore anything heavier than denim over a t-shirt. I've sold most of my leathers too and now just have 3 jackets (down from 12) that I don't much wear.

We could all just swop jackets of the same size between each other on TFL. Different continents for seasonality, different makes, as tastes change, and then change back again. Eventually money could be eliminated, but I guess someone would have to throw a new jacket into the pool now and again. Jackets could just make the rounds and come back again, thus eliminating sellers remorse, or or buyers remorse for that matter.

Hmmm....

Maybe this is already happening.
