Thanks guys. It was definitely a good result, particularly on the length and the lining. The crease was something they'd only seen once or twice before and it seemed to be just my bad luck.

I actually treat my jackets really roughly, as the bigger the battering the better they look, but this was different. I was focusing on it and it would probably have put me off wearing it, but luckily Aero didn't mess about or try to fob me off, they just wanted a happy customer, and they got one.

Nick, I always store mine flat, but squashed a bit, and once I get them on any storage creases soon disappear.

Thanks guys. Schitzo, there are no mods at all. The length is what I thought was standard. Maybe most others have longer than standard as I think it sells more in the US, where I believe the Thurston spec is longer by default.

That's my impression as well. Thurston seem to sell mostly to guys who spend a lot of time hunched over a crotchrocket, a position in which jackets do tend to ride up and risk exposing the lower back (especially when worn with modern, lower-rise trousers).

wdw, I was wondering about the crease you mentioned. When I got my LHB in January of 2012 it had, and still has, a crease running diagonally across the piece below the halfbelt. I never complained about it because I believe I was the last person to actually receive one from the former U.S. distributor. It's always bothered me, though.

Wonderful looking jacket WDW. Tropicalbob, I think I was about the last one for the former U.S. distributor. My Half Belt Deluxe arrived in mid March, just days before the big blow-up. I believe I placed the order in December.

Thanks. Was considering sizing down to 40 but shoulders are 1.5" too narrow. 42 will leave room for layering.
