This is a great way for recent additions to catch up on the full story. I've read snippets from different posting through the months, but this thread is giving me a more complete picture. Thanks for the facts Sloan.

Thanks Sloan, as a keen Aero and Iron Heart customer, I'm quite curious to find out the whole story when it comes out, especially as I had a storse in the race.

It's a more broad brush piece for broader public consumption. I've got more stuff from my court notes that is more Lounge-specific - not least the times when the FL was mentioned during the case - but I'll wait til tomorrow.

Thanks Sloan; we eagerly await more information to come. There must be a great deal more from three weeks of trial testimony.

Wonder what the minimum/maximum sentence is for this type of crime...or are these things worked differently in Britain..??
HD

Most offences these days have a set statutory maximum (murder being the rare exception as it carries a mandatory "life" sentence). If memory serves, in the case of significant theft, Scots law provides a maximum penalty of around three years. It is at the judge's discretion; we'll know in due course what they decide. Custodial is clearly one option.

I'm assuming that custodial means the same or similar to U.S. probation.

Custodial sentence usually means locked up in prison, juvenile detention centre, mental hospital or rehab depending on the situation. I think prison is the option here.

My chest always swells with pride knowing I once owned a jacket that had relations with all of those rock n' rollers!
