Absolutely, and they'll make sure that the jacket's dimensions all work in proportion to each other and not look... odd. :)

I think Aero beats Eastman hands down in all areas especially pricing.

ELC were long considered to be just a notch more accurate on the military stuff, though I'm not familiar with their most recent offerings, and their star has waned since the establishment of GoodWear as "the best". I've owned a few of Aero's military leathers, and they are very nice. For me, their true strength is in their civilian styles, especially with the burst of creativity since Ken became more involved again over the past couple of years. A Bootlegger is a great idea - they're atunning jackets. When buying my first new Aero leather I wanted something a bit different. Ordered a cordovan Bootlegger with a couple of subtle mods, most specifically button cuffs. Very, very pleased with it.

Did the cordovan wear in nicely? Did it develop some nice grain and coloring variations? I'm impressed by the way the oil pull leather seems to get the various color changes in areas where it bends. Seems as though it comes in just one color brown though.

I have an Aero order in the works. It is taking longer than estimated, but I have received prompt replies to the emails I have sent. I think the style of jacket ordered, and the extent of customizing are both significant factors that influence one's experience with Aero. I am pleased with their commitment to make the jacket requested as set out in the beginning, but I also acknowledge that patience is required on my part. Customization takes time.

What do you have on order, Foster? Windward, yours and wdw's jackets are the ones that made me want cordovan as my next hide.

If you ordered the brown FQHH in CXL, it will take a while, as Aero is currently out of stock. It is Aero's most popular hide--for good reason. New shipment expected the first part of January.

I was waiting on a batch of cordovan coming and it arrived recently, maybe with the brown. I'm going down on Monday to pick up two jackets.

At least as well as the brown - if not better. I'll see if I can dig out some photos at some point...
