A retro flyer style can caught my eye

I bought a can of energy drink only because the can had nose art and WWII airplane style looks.

I saw that in a store once myself, and it definitely caught my eye.

Does it taste any good? Or should I buy it just for the can?

Those are P-40 Warhawks used by the Flying Tigers in the background of the graphics. They do produce a vintage atmosphere over all with the cans and pin ups.

I tried the "energy + juice" and thought it tasted pretty good.
I looked at site some more and found it funny that there was a rockabilly crossover for the WWII inspired drink. [huh]

Ah yes..Coffee. The cream colored heavy ceramic mugs that every greasy spoon used to pour Maxwell House in would make a fine canvass for that nose art!!
I have a couple sets..the only mugs I use....and I am an artist!

Just amazing what they can get people to buy, if they stick a couple of planes and pinups on the can I mean what's this artifical drink got to do with vintage planes and pinups from the 40's. :eusa_doh:

A girlfriend of mine works for Pinup Girl Clothing and they have TONS of that drink in their offices. For some reason the company sends it to them to free!

Her boyfriend always has a couple of cases in his room to hand out. Which is perfect because he's totally rockabilly and owns about every rockabilly/pin-up/car magazine, book, DVD, what have you. So of course it's appropriate that he has the rockabilly energy drink.

I've never had it though. Energy drinks taste like melted, carbonated candy to me. Too wretched to get past one sip.
