those who insist that rotweilers and and pit bulls are gentle pets that love children! It is a form of insanity, I tell you!!

So...have you ever owned a pitbull? Do you know any pitbulls? I do and have, and they're awesome, lovable, trustworthy dogs. I've never owned a rottweiler but I've known several and when I was little I rode one like a horsie. To me a dog that is friendly is a dog that is friendly. I guess you are more worried about whether they look scary?

Crazy = disagreeing with Dixon Cannon?

You care about what other people eat and what kind of dogs they have. That's not a mental imbalance?

"Don't tread on me"...that's my motto!!! "Live free or die" used to be a phrase that stirred the hearts of men...no longer.

There is a VAST difference between what's left of vanishing rural America and, well, the rest of the world.

Oddly enough (or NOT!!!), that flag hangs in my home! I don't want to swerve inadvertantly into politics, but you can begin to decern the philosophical and political implications in this discussion thread. There are two distinct mindsets at play here.

Not to ruin all the momentum you've worked up, but I'm a conservative libertarian. So you can take your dislike for my dog and your dislike for my religion and put both where the sun don't shine, but you'll ALWAYS have the right to your free speech with me.lol

The problem with pit bulls, rotweillers, and so on are usually not the dogs, but the owners. This is another sad fact about dog owners is that they purchase a pet without having the knowledge of what they're getting themselves into. There is a big difference between a rotweiller and a laso aphso....I owned a rotweiller, and he was the biggest sweatheart, but he had to be shown who was boss, my laso just takes it for granted that I'm in charge. I see people buying dogs, that have been breed for guarding, and see them playing games with them that actually encourage thier natural aggresion, now whether or not this is the intention, I don't know, I bet most of them have no idea that you need to be a bit careful with certain breeds.
