I'm having trouble dating the decade that this furniture is from...any thoughts?
yunlai009 said:The main part of the valve consists of the marine valve body and bonnet. These two parts form the casing that holds the fluid going through the valve. Valve bodies are usually metallic. Brass, bronze, cast iron, steel, alloy steels and stainless steels are very common. Plastic bodies are used for relatively low pressures and temperatures. PVC, PP, PVDF and glass-reinforced nylon are common plastics used for valve bodies. Bonnet is the part of a valve casing through which the stem passes and that forms a guide and seal for the stem.
