1940s Halfbelt

I ran across this today- the labels are gone, and it's pretty well beat, but still, a pretty cool jacket.

Can any of you here tell me anything about it?

Looks like another variation of the "Aviator" style- shame the left back looksto be rotted out. What size is it?
