I've got too few odd jackets, and only one heavy tweed jacket, so this would be a welcome addition. The fabric is perfect.

I really like tweed (having 3 tweed jackets of my own) but that is a tad loud, a tad pricey and I really dont need another one.

As the good Baron says, that is a good price for an original early tweed jacket. I have been hovering on the BIN, but, knowing I will have to have it tailored, I wanted someone else to have it, however, if it is there much longer, It will be at my alteration tailor!

I like this one, it is my size, quite dear, although, with the alterations on the other one will no doubt be around the same price!

Yes, a closer glance at those lapels would indeed suggest a middle 30s date, fitting in with all the other features. Great buttons, too!
