1930's Non-Newsboy Style Cap

There've been quite a few posts on another thread bemoaning the non-availability of period looking caps.
I have a cap just like the one Bertie Wooster wears to play golf in the TV show. I'ts free to the first person who contacts me confirming they'll pay the postage.
I can't work out how to post picture files on this site (I'd appreciate some instructions on how to do this, please,if any site experts are reading this), so here's a description -
It's light lovat green tweed with a tan/wine "window pane" check. It has a flat top and a very large visor. The crown is wider than modern style caps but not pizza size.
The size is 58/UK 7 1/8 (US 7 1/4) but it's a tad snug on me, that's why it's being offered. It's in excellent unstained condition.
The style is pure Bertie Wooster. It's also like the caps you see tractor drivers wearing in 1930's Soviet propaganda movies.
So there you have it; come on, you guys.

Hi Old Fogey UK,

There are a number of free picture hosting sites that you can use to host your image. I use http://photobucket.com.

Upload your picture(s) there with a free account. then on that site they have a place where you can copy the html code for use here at TFL or other sites that require off site photo hosting.

Anyway, you just copy this code for the picture, then paste it into your post here in the location within the post that you desire.

Prior to submitting the post, I would strongly recommend clicking "preview Post" to make sure you like the way it looks. But... when you do this and it looks all pretty and you love it, don't forget to click "Submit Reply" or "Post", just because you can see the preview does not mean it is posted.

I hope that helps!

Happy picture posting!

Troy

Another option is ImageShack:

I'm sure there's a UK version as well.

Not to take sides here, but I've noticed in the archives that the PhotoBucket pics seem to disappear, while the ImageShack ones remain. I think the former might have an expiration date. I use the latter and have been happy, but a couple of caveats are in order:

(1) Note that they give you a lot of options for posting, and those that you'll probably want to use are closer to the bottom.

(2) Make liberal use of the "Preview Post" option on this forum as you compose before pulling the trigger on "Submit Reply". That will save you some stress. You'll see what you are doing as opposed to what you are trying to do!

By the way, kudos to those responsible for setting up this forum. It is really easy to use when you get the hang of it, and very easy to post pictures. Which is exceedingly helpful!

My Photobucket pics are all still present and correct, after several years.
If people move the pics around within albums, they get "lost".

I have only one BIG album, so the filenames remain the same.

Never had any problems with PBucket.

I think Belly Tank is right. I think those photos with the dead Photobucket links must have been moved around or deleted by the users.

I started a folder at that site titled Fedora Lounge so I won't make such an error myself and move a picture I need for this forum.

Thank you very much to everyone for the helpful advice on how to post pics. Armed with this, I should have more luck in future.
The cap has been spoken for but I'll pass it on to its new owner on the basis that if he doesn't like it, he'll offer in on to other Loungers.
