Ribbon style,dimensions,etc. Also, Giuseppe split from business with his brother Lazzaro in the 20's. If you search the archives you'll learn all about how to date them.

G. B. Borsalino fu Lazzaro & C. went out of business in the early 1930s (I believe 1932, but it might be a few years either side of that). So, it's a reasonable guess that anything they produced was at latest early 1930s.
